Day 1

Pick up at Podgorica/Tivat airport

After the introduction we get to ride along the coast to the old Mediterranean port of Kotor, surrounded by fortifications built during the Venetian period.

The Climb Towards Lovcen National Park

We'll start this part by van, to avoid the main road and save some climb. The most famous section of the road is called Kotor Serpentine: a 8.3km long stretch, with 25 hairpin turns. Along this section, the road starts at an elevation of 458m above the sea level, and ends at 881m.

Visit to Petar Petrović Njegoš's Mausoleum

Constructed in 1971. It represents the biggest and most important monument of Lovćen national park. This is where we end our day 1 adventure and take a rest in the village of Dolovi.
